Why pursue the Pro-life issue?
Here is a little extract from our beloved Blessed John Paul II, founder of the World Youth Days:
“To be actively pro-life is to contribute to the renewal of society through the promotion of the common good. It is impossible to further the common good without acknowledging and defending the right to life, upon which all the other inalienable rights of individuals are founded and from which they develop.”
In following this call, I took the opportunity to attend in Madrid the Viva La Vida pro-life conference where the speakers were an inspiration and the content truly an education. (See entry on 18th August: Catechesis day 1: Viva La Vida)
